I want to thank my line for always being there for me throughout this semester. Even though this wasn’t a normal semester due to the pandemic my line was able to help me adapt and overcome the obstacles that we faced. I would like to thank my Big, class dad, and class mom for all the support that you have provided. I want to thank our program educator and the rest of the active house for their time and effort to help us become a gentleman of Kappa Pi Beta. This has been a once in a lifetime experience and I am looking forward to what the future has in store for our line.

Looking back, I probably would not have thought I would be a part of Greek life. Now, I am glad that I took up the opportunity to be a part of this brotherhood. Things have been tough for everyone during this pandemic but I am glad that things were still able to work out for everyone. I would like to thank everyone that has helped me throughout my journey. Special thanks to our PE, dad and mom, my big, and my line for being there whenever I needed it the most. It was a tough journey but I am glad that things were able to work out for all of us.

Joining this brotherhood has been quite the journey, full of ups and downs, but I am ecstatic to call myself a brother of Kappa Pi Beta. I’d like to thank my line for always being there for me, backing me up, and pushing me to keep going no matter what obstacles we faced throughout the process. I’d like to thank my big brother for being a great guide and friend throughout this journey as well as giving me good advice for my career. I’d like to thank my class dad and mom for the support and for being there whenever I needed it. Finally, I’d like to thank our program educator and the rest of the active house for instilling the values of a gentleman of Kappa Pi Beta in me and pushing me to better myself every day. This has been a very rewarding experience and I look forward to contributing and advancing the goals of this fraternity.

Going into college, I had no intentions of joining a fraternity at all. I wanted to focus solely on NROTC and school, and that would be that. However, I met a few brothers in the fraternity, and they really piqued my interest regarding joining. Looking back at everything now, I am so happy and grateful for the opportunity I was provided to join a brotherhood of incredible individuals. I’ve made great experiences and even better friends through the whole process. When I joined college, I wanted to make an impact by subverting Asian stereotypes in a positive way. I wanted to be part of a group that served its community through servant leadership, and develop myself as a gentleman; and I also wanted to join a group where I would make the best of friends. Who knew I could find all of that in Kappa Pi Beta.
